February 28th is a special Sunday. Yerevan's Stop Club is featuring Narek Markarian's new show ELVIS BLUES. The show is a tribute to blues roots and blues legacy of Elvis Presley, that were so crucial on his path to stardom. Elvis was the first white man to sing the blues right, he opened show business doors for a great number of extremely talented African American entertainers and was highly influenced by many great blues artists. In 2004 Elvis Presley was among first white artists to be inducted to Blues hall of Fame.

Blues will be the dominating genre of the evening but not the only one. There is no Elvis tribute without some rock'n'roll, some ballads and gospel too.

After 1 month of being online Narek and Sergey's Armcomedy blog proves to be a real success.

Narek will perform an open air 20 minute show as part of the Civic Society day initiative. narek's performance is scheduled around 14:00 in Lover's Park of Yerevan. Admission is free.

New (August) issue of Luxury magazine has a DVD inside each magazine that features footage from Hollywood Night party. Narek's act "one of the most energetic" as quoted from kamoblog.am is featured on the DVD.

09/08/2009 New Concert at STOP CLUB

"Hi everyone, I worked very hard for this show and I really hope you will like it.
This is a Tribute Concert to Elvis Presley. August 16 is the International Elvis Day and it is also the day Elvis left us 32 years ago.
The show couldn't take place on 16th, for technical reasons, so we will do it 1 week before. I hope you will enjoy it.

Narek will appear in Sevan Culture Club for a short performance.

24/07/2009 Hollywood Night by Kamoblog.

Narek will be performing at a Hollywood Night show, where Armenians stars will all impersonate an american music idol. A DVD release will follow this event, so if you can't make it to "Aftershock" club you still can enjoy the show. Click on photo for details.
